I have generated almost 400 web pages of Genealogy Data based on the updates I have entered from the last 2 years. This new site has been generated from a new version of Roots Magic 4.0 software. I've noticed a few issues that I've reported to the software manufacture and they are going to correct them. As always if you see anything incorrect, missing, etc., let me know and I'll get it queued up for the next update. Living persons on the web site should have there details privatized.

Also if anyone is interested in a personalized book of there Genealogy, I think I have found a printer who can do this cost effectively. If you only want a PDF just e-mail me and I'll generate a few interesting reports for you.

Click here to go directly to the site.
My fifth cousin once removed, Jeff, sent out a e-mail with some photos that he has given me permission to post here on the blog.

Here's a bit of history that we have all talked about, but never seen....or at least if you've seen it, you may have forgotten about it!!

I found a lovely photo at the back of a cupboard at Dads yesterday that was taken (according to my Dad) in 1926 when George and Hannah took on the shop at 1 Burton Road, Lincoln [England]. In the photograph you can see the shop sign and three 'young' people in the doorway....they are, left to right, Joe Sardeson, Nellie Sardeson and Connie Sardeson (children of George and Hannah).

I have tried to carefully enhance it and I have also extracted parts as separate photos, which I attach.

Hope you enjoy the results!!

Jeff

Greetings,

It's cousin Brian from Indiana.

I've contacted over 60 Sardeson's via Facebook. I'm awaiting most of them to accept me as friends.

Here's my site and the Relatives section is on the bottom left.

Looking forward to share my info with the rest of the family and perhaps even attend the reunion this year!

The North Dakota Sardeson Planning Committee (Shirley Schafer, Sherry Fetch, & Lisa Bachler) is looking for suggestions for entertainment activities for the Cousin Reunion this summer July 3-6 in Mandan, NC. Feel free to post comments here and I'll forward them to the committee.
That is the relationship of myself and Paula, a distant cousin who has been exchanging e-mails with me since Jan 15, 2008. In Paulas' original e-mail to me she said:

I’m not sure where to start here. I found your site [genealogy.sardeson.org] when I typed in ‘Joan Hodgkin, Calverton’, a name that was given to me by a distant cousin who has been doing a family tree for over 30 years. I was put in touch with this lady quite by chance, anyway getting to my point, your information is exactly the same as mine only the surname is different. The name I have is spelled ‘Sargeson’. Apparently Henry/Henrie Sardeson/Sargeson is my ancestor.

I know we have found Sardeson spelled Sardison and it has been suspected that Sardeson and Saregeson could also be from the same origins. After seeing the details of the work there is no doubt the ancestors that Paula and I have with the same Given Names, date and place of birth, death, and marriages, are indeed the same people. Here is a chart to show the relationship and our common ancestor (spelling to be verified!).
